We are proud to announce that our company has been recognized as an “S-Class Energy Conservation Enterprise” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Japan (METI) in 2024 under the SABC Evaluation System for Businesses.

This top-tier S-Class rating is awarded based on multiple evaluation criteria set by the METI, including:

• Establishing a dedicated energy management system led by specialized highly skilled human capitals
• Visualizing detailed data on energy usage and CO₂ emissions
• Implementing planned and ongoing energy-saving improvements based on the analyzed data
• Providing energy conservation education and awareness training for all employees
• Introducing and thoroughly maintaining high-efficiency equipment and technologies
• Driving advanced energy-saving initiatives in collaboration with partner companies and external experts

Our company has long been committed to a variety of measures aimed at achieving our carbon neutral (CN) targets. We will continue to work together as an organization to proactively promote energy conservation activities into the future to reach our goal of net zero by 2050.

For reference, The SABC Evaluation System is a business classification initiative administered by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Japan (METI) under the “Act on the Rational Use of Energy and Conversion to Non-Fossil Energy” (Energy Conservation Act). Under this system, all businesses required to submit regular reports under the Act are categorized into four classes—S, A, B, and C—based on their energy conservation efforts. This classification is used to implement graded, targeted measures in line with each class.
